Ensure to delete any other existing MX records.
Setup on Microsoft Outlook:
- Using IMAP / POP:
- Enter user information, click More Settings.
- Under Outgoing Server Tab, select ‘My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.’
- Advanced Tab:
- Incoming Server IMAP (Port: 993, SSL)
- Outgoing Server SMTP (Port: 465, SSL)
- Using Zimbra Outlook Connector:
- Download from here.
- Install and add email, password, and “zimbra.idnix.net” as server. Configuration is automatic.
Direct Access via Browser (Webmail):
Mail Client Setup (Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, iOS, Android, Gmail):
- IMAP:
- Server: zimbra.idnix.net
- SSL: Enabled (SSL/TLS)
- Port: 993
- Username: your@emailadress
- Authentication: YourPassword
- SMTP:
- Server: zimbra.idnix.net
- SSL: Enabled (SSL/TLS)
- Port: 465
- Username: your@emailadress
- Authentication: YourPassword
If facing issues with the outgoing server, change outgoing SSL settings to STARTTLS, TLS, or AUTO.
